On July 3rd, 2009, a new organization, “Unity Day on the Parkway, Inc.” has filed application for the hosting of Unity Day with the Fairmount Park Commission.

The date for the 2009 Unity Day event, is August 23, 2009.  Location: The Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

The City of Philadelphia has given tentative approval for the organization and are now on a Fast-Track organizing activities and entertainment.  At this point in time, Community support and suggestions are welcomed.
